Who We Are
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring together a dedicated group of individuals who will support the Bishop and Priests in their efforts to deepen and enrich the faith of Filipinos in the Diocese. We aim to provide an effective channel through which the Good News can be spread and shared with the community.
Faith Development
Our goal is to foster the growth of faith within the Filipino community by organizing religious seminars, Bible studies, and related educational activities. We especially aim to engage the Filipino youth and strengthen family life through these initiatives.
Charitable Engagement
Our goal is to encourage charitable efforts within the Filipino community by dedicating our time, talents, and resources to support charitable organizations within the Diocese of St. Augustine, as well as other charities as suggested or endorsed by the Diocese.
Social and Pastoral Coordination
The goal is to bring together social and pastoral efforts of Filipino associations, Catholic organizations, and similar movements that focus on racial and social justice, ensuring they align with the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Communication and Participation
The objective is to enhance communication between the Diocese of St. Augustine and the Filipino community, promote active participation of Filipinos in the Diocese's projects and initiatives, and facilitate the Filipino community's contribution to the mission and goals of the Diocese of St. Augustine.
Cultural Support
To promote and support the observance of religious customs and practices that are unique to Filipino Catholics.
